once safely inside my dorm I sigh. "well I haven't seen you in a while." I draw out and immediately regret my outburst after seeing how bad chanel looked.
"i know that i haven't been fair to you. look, i really need a favor. i wouldn't ask unless it was important."
"anything." i say. "you're not alone in this. you never have been. i promised that whatever it took we would figure this out together so shoot."
chanel sighs. "okay. Where do i begin? it all started...."

it was easy to sneak up on people. mainly because no one ever suspected a ghost would be stalking them.
how could they?
i wasn't aware that ghosts existed myself until i woke up spooking aislin while she was in the middle of understanding changes in chemical compounds. that was a mistake.
one that caused Aislin to uproot her life and move to Stark House. i still felt bad about that.
after my last encounter it was best to wait until i could ambush them.
i never told Aislin but there was something about winter that kept me tied on solid ground so to speak. it was a beautiful kind of pain to watch tiny white flakes drop from the dark sky falling where it may lie; either on a mountain, melting to a puddle on the ground, or by forcing the adaption of trees.
i float above expansive rectangular ground intent on heading the opposite direction when i see a person walking straight for the woods. that striked me as odd considering no one in their right mind would be taking a leisure walk at this time of night.
i take a second look then i remembered something. it was aislins friend. the cute blonde named Wesley.
i could spot trouble well enough to know danger was lurking nearby.
i stick around just in case to watch over aislines little friend.
i float past a vertical line of trees not completely understanding the reason anyone would be trolling late at night when i knew there was comfortable amenities inside the dorm.
welsey stops going any further once he enters a circular patch of grass where no trees grow.
"what do you want?" wesly asks bitterly.
he was talking with some average looking guy in a black trench coat. i knew my labels by heart. whoever that person was had style i would definitely remember seeing. remaining true of his need of secrecy the hood obscured his face well. "not even a hello brother?"
"we thought you were dead."
"i've been busy myself."
if Ailsin were on good terms with the guy he didn't sound familiar to me.
"i don't have much time. i'm not sure but i may have been seen coming here." Wesley said
i back up and hide once Wesley turns around.
"i'm looking for someone special." trench coat guy said tight lipped.
if i was careful maybe he would say more.
"why come and ask me fore hep?" Wesley sneers
it wasn't hard to imagine that Wesley didn't like him. not that i had complaints myself. the guy was a total antagonist in a Burberry coat.
"you know the land." he says unhappy that wesely didn't respond. "just point me in the direction. i'll do the rest."
weley crosses his arms. "fine."
i leave to warn aislin about her friends nighttime stroll.
